I love when the kids come in from playing outside and their hair smells of forest, of wet and dry things, of green things and wind and sun and water.
I especially love that Simone lets me squeeze her and breathe in the top of her head until my heart's full and content.
There is no other life in the world for me but this one.

I now live in Key Largo, but I came from NY. I take pleasure in reading your blog, something about it reminds me of the feeling of "home". You seem to understand the beauty in simplicity, and the beauty of nature, both of which I discovered in Upstate NY. Thanks for keeping up with the blog.
